Earlier this month, The American Academy of Family Physicians hosted FMX or “Family Medicine Experience”—their annual meeting. CCP was there to meet physicians in solo and group medical practices and hear about their latest concerns and challenges.
One thing stood out more than any other—family physicians are interested in new programs to supplement and stabilize their incomes—without disrupting the practices they’ve worked hard to build or sacrificing the patient relationships they’ve worked hard to nurture. Not accepting insurance could risk both. Could their practice survive if they went “direct pay” or moved to a cash only practice?
Several of CCP’s physician clients were there to speak with physicians about how their hybrid program was able to blend seamlessly into their existing practice and allowed them to continue to see all of their patients and maintain insurance relationships.
